ALANI TAKES ECOLABEL LABEL
More than 150 of ALANI’s products have been awarded the European ECO LABEL Certificate.
The European Eco-label stands for low environmental impacts throughout a product’s life cycle — from manufacturing to disposal.
Consumers can find it across the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. Every product awarded the European Eco-label must pass rigorous environmental fitness trials, with results verified by an independent body.
A PRODUCT ECOLABEL
EU Ecolabelled products can be an important part of the solution to global warming as they have to use less energy, both in production and in use, and have to be easy to dispose of.
THE ECO FLOWER ENCOURAGES REDUCTION IN:
Water and Energy use.
And the use of renewable resources.
The Flower stands for high quality as well as care for the environment. The label adorns top performing products only.
ALANI SL is a strategic partner of REKUNION SL. This company coordinates waste management throughout the Group and ensures that wherever possible, the waste will be treated by specialists within the company. This means that every week, nearly half a ton of paper is sent for recycling to REKUNION SL.
OUR ECOLOGICAL OBJETIVES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
At ALANI S.L. we are strongly committed to preserving the environment while maintaining premium quality production in the core of our business, meeting the requirements of our clients both at the local and global market.
ALANI produces paper from well-managed forests. We give assurance that the forest of origin has been independently inspected and evaluated to comply with an internationally agreed set of strict environmental, social and economic standards.
We proud ourselves to have also achieved:
18% reduction in CO2 emissions
21% reduction in water consumption usage
15% property energy usage improvement
45% waste reduction in packaging materials
95% LESS PACKAGING WASTE
Instead of packing our products in bulky Carton Shipping boxes, we Shrink Wrap them in recyclable material. By eliminating the carton core inside the roll and making the product coreless, we are not only helping the environment but we are also cutting your storage requirements by up to 50%.
Our Compact Coreless Products can make 119 tons of paper and packaging disappear from your waste stream each year.
* Based on using 28,000 cases of coreless tissue per year.
This type of paper SHOULD be recycled:
Newspapers, magazines and directories.
Photocopy and computer Paper.
Other printed or unprinted Paper (i.e.: “junk” mail).
Bags, sacks, tubes. Cartons, boxes, corrugated boxes.
Beverage cartons, packaging.
About 20-25% of paper should not be recycled for hygienic reasons and human health. These are:
Food Parchment Papers.
Tissue Paper has direct contact with our skin. Therefore the use of a silky, white and 100% pure Tissue Paper guarantees not only quality satisfaction but hygiene as well.
