Alani committed to the protection and conservation of natural resources, develops environmental actions to counteract the CO2 emissions generated during the production process, our environmental mission is to protect our environmental resources, and therefore we have invested in 3 CO2 compensation projects:
1) PROJECT: Reforestation Springfield 22- Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain)
Project certified by MITECO Code: 2021-b158, whose objective is the reforestation of 79.52 hectares located in the Community of Montes Vecinales en Mano Común de Borela, located in the province of Pontevedra (Galicia). The plantation has been carried out mainly with native species (Betula spp, Salix spp, Pinus radiata, Pronux spp, Cedrus atlantica, Crataegus monogyna) adapted to this region to preserve the ecosystem. The implementation of the project has been carried out by Forestalis, whose local branch is located in Borela, Pontevedra, Galicia 36856, ES, formed by a local team. This offset is registered in MITECO under code 2023-c210.
2) PROJECT: 100.5 MW WIND PROJECT IN MADHYA PRADESH INDIA-(2X)
This 100.5 MW wind power project is located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The project consists of 67 wind turbines of 1.5 MW each that generate clean electricity using wind power. It has played an important role in reducing CO2 emissions and will continue to contribute to the economic growth of the area by generating 180 GWh of clean electricity per year, which is equivalent to powering 42,000 homes each year. The project will also mitigate 1.23 million tCO2e of carbon emissions over 7 years. This offset is registered under code GSM17146.
3) PROJECT: 400 MW SOLAR POWER PROJECT IN BHADLA, RAJASTHAN, INDIA.
The objective of the project is to generate electricity using renewable solar energy. The project's objective is to reduce anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions estimated at approximately 694,471 tCO2e per year, thus replacing 732,874 MWh/year of electricity with renewable energy. The project diversifies the mix of power plants connected to the INDIA Grid, which is dominated mainly by fossil fuel/thermal based power plants. This offset is registered under the code GSM20912.
