We shared and learned a great deal during the day, with open discussion sessions on the Institute's objectives and our active work on rapid program, standard and process improvements.
We learned about how C2C Certified aligns with upcoming European legislation and drives circular business models.
The discussions during the working groups provided very important information for all of us, allowing participants to learn from each other and co-create solutions as a community.
We agreed that C2C Certified is the only product certification on the market that combines safety and circularity, and that it should stand out.
The main conclusion is that, as a community, we have impact in different sectors to close the loop, but we need to become bigger and collaborate with stakeholders to have a significant influence. It is important that we raise awareness in the marketplace (from governments to consumers) and make C2C Certified® more visible and exciting, building on its rich history while maintaining a forward-looking approach. We cannot do this without this community, the companies in the program and our valuable assessors with their in-depth knowledge.
